Hi, I’m Kate.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and certified Perinatal Mental Health Counselor (PMH-C) and I’ve spent the last 20+ years helping mothers raise emotionally healthy kids while staying connected to the work and purpose that lights them up.

As the founder of the Parent and Family Wellness Center in Boulder, and the creator of The Calm Connection Systemβ„’, I’ve supported over 6,000 women around the world in building deep, secure, loving relationships with their childrenβ€”starting in the earliest, most important years of life.

Today, I work exclusively with high-achieving, career-driven mothers of young children (ages 0–5) who are worried they’re not forming the kind of bond their children need to feel safe, seen, and loved. These women want to show up for their kidsβ€”but they’re overwhelmed, overextended, and afraid they’re getting it wrong.

Through coaching, education, and neuroscience-based tools, I guide mothers to quiet the anxiety, drop the guilt, and reconnect with the steady, intuitive part of themselves that knows how to lead with love. I help them create relationships with their children that are emotionally rich, secure, and lastingβ€”without giving up their ambitions.
